McELLIGOTTWILLIAM JEROME "JERRY"
59 of Somerset, PA on February 15, 2007. Born February 24, 1947, son of the late William Jerome McElligott and Dorothy Frances (Tahaney). Husband of Vickie Diane Kelly to whom he was married 12 years; father of Robert McElligott and fiance Kathy Keller of Syracuse, NY, Jerry McElligott (Jessica Marino) of Pittsburgh, Meredith McElligott of Pittsburgh and Nicole Blough of Richland; stepfather of Steven Weller of Pittsburgh, Craig Weller of Woodbridge, VA, and Jillian Weller of Somerset; grandfather of Matthew, Braden and Shea McElligott and Arrabella Weller; brother of Mrs. Leo (Audrey) Rauterkus of Cranberry, Mrs. Roy (Patty) Kaiser of Swissvale and the late William Jerome McElligott. He was a 1965 graduate of Wilkinsburg High School. US Army Veteran of Vietnam. Worked Maintenance for 36 years for St. Peter's Catholic Church, also as a self employed Disk Jockey for 20 years. Also a member of American Legion in Donegal. He enjoyed softball, basketball and golf and also enjoyed his trains. Friends received 3-9PM Monday at the HAUGER-ZEIGLER FUNERAL HOME, Somerset. Funeral Mass will be conducted 10:00am Tuesday, February 20, 2007 St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset. PA with the Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli Celebrant Officiating. Committal Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501. Vigil for the deceased will be conducted at 3PM Monday at Funeral Home.
